Donations made through this site are directed to schools and educational organizations, where funds are allocated to an Outstanda account for the purchase of educational licenses. Over 80% of money raised goes to fund licenses, and 100% of the license fee can be earned by students who demonstrate mastery of the material. Unused deposits expire after 5 years and will be redistributed to active schools.
Earnings are in Learning Gig Rewards, which have no cash value outside the Outstanda program but may be redeemed for gift cards, merchandise, and other rewards. The maximum value a student can earn for completing a course is equivalent to 100% of the license fee paid for them.
